OUR BEGINNINGS
The origins of both French Caribbean International and French Caribbean Villas can be traced back to a single journey taken in the summer of 1978. It was then that our founders, an American couple with European roots, made their initial visit to the French West Indies. As with countless other travelers, they experienced le coup de foudre (love at first sight) upon discovering these extraordinary destinations. Over the years, they continued to travel throughout the islands, developing lasting friendships and an extensive firsthand knowledge of the region.

Our founders established French Caribbean International in 1994 to provide travelers with personal lodging reservation services and helpful information about our destinations. Within two years, we introduced the French West Indies to the Internet with our launch of FrenchCaribbean.com.
